A water paradise catering to the whole family, featuring two swimming pools, two water
slides, a splash pool, an indoor pool, four hot tubs, a steam room and sauna. In the
summer, a family park with playground equipment is a popular attraction.
Surrounded by pristine hillsides, the pool at Laugar is 25 m long with a temperature
around 30°C. There are two spacious hot tubs, one at 40°C and another around 37°C.
There’s also a kids’ wading area and a fitness center.

Mývatn
Nature Baths
Mývatn Nature Baths are supplied with mineral-rich, alkaline water from a borehole that
goes 2,500 meters (8,200 ft) into the ground. At the baths, there are also two natural
steam baths built on top of a geothermal area. After relaxing at the baths, enjoy a meal
at the on-site Café Kvika.

The 12.5-m pool is located on the banks of Selá, one of Iceland’s best-known salmon rivers.
Famous for its stunning natural surroundings. Includes a children’s wading pool and a hot tub.
Good wheelchair access. Large terrace for sunbathing.

Egilsstaðir
Pool
The main pool at Egilsstaðir is a 25x12.5 m outdoor pool, located
next to a large sports center. Includes two hot tubs of 38-40°C, sauna, kids’ pool and water-
slide. There are also benches and chairs for people to lie and relax in the sun.
