The main pool at Blönduós is 25x8.5 m. There’s also a wading pool and two hot tubs.
Blönduós is at the heart of the lake and river-filled region of Húnaflói Bay in Northwest

Located in a small town with a population of 200, the Hofsós pool is certainly a hidden
gem. Designed by the architect responsible for the famous Blue Lagoon and the winner
of several design awards, the geothermally-heated pool is built into a hillside overlooking
the sea and Drangey island.

Swimming Pool
The Skagaströnd pool area includes a 6x12-m outdoor pool and a hot tub. This is a small,
clean and pleasant pool, with good locker rooms and showers. Here, coffee is available
in the hot tub. Peaceful and beautiful natural surroundings.

The main pool at Varmahlíð has lanes reserved for lap swimming and a section for
families and kids, with a waterslide. There’s a hot tub, sauna and sports facility on site.
Winter: Same, but closes at 22:00 on Fridays and at 17:00 on weekends
