A popular neighborhood pool, located within walking distance of the city center. It has
an outdoor pool and children’s pool, a waterslide, five hot tubs—one of which is brand-
new—a steam room, sauna and sunbathing facilities.
Sundhöllin (‘The Swimming Palace’) is Iceland’s oldest public bath, designed by the
noted architect Guðjón Samúelsson. The main pool is 25x10 m and has two diving
boards. Outside, on the balcony, there are two large hot tubs.
Located in Laugardalur valley, this is Iceland’s largest pool complex. Its facilities include a
50-m outdoor pool, a 50-m indoor pool, an outdoor children’s pool and paddling pool,
two waterslides, numerous hot tubs, steam room, gym and mini-golf course.
