KRISTINNSON
On July 15, 1978 at the St.
Boniface Hospital, Mrs. Holm-
fridur Kristinnson aged 87
years, a longtime resident of
the Arborg district.
Mrs. Kristinnson came to
Canada from Iceland in 1900
and had lived in the Arborg
District all her life. She had
been a member of the Geysir
Lutheran Church and the La-
dies Aid.
She was predeceased by her
husband Kristinn in 1963, and
aiso by two sons and two
grandsons; and leaves surviv-
ing three daughters, Maria
(Mrs. George Boundy), Kris-
tin (Mrs. Njail Gislason), Bea-
trice (Mrs. Valdi Gudmund-
son); and two sons, Albert and
Steini ali of Arborg; her
brother Steini Thorsteinson
also of Arborg; 15 grandchii-
dren and 14 great-grandchil-
dren.
MAGNUS J. ERLINtíSON
Suddenly on July 13, 1978, at
the Health Sciences Centre,
Mr. Magnus J. Erlindson,
aged 67 years, dearly beloved
husband of Mrs. Evelyn Er-
lindson of 66 Armstrong Ave-
nue. WinniDee.
THORA OLSON
On June 3, 1978, 212 Man-
chester Avenue, Selkirk, Man.
in her 98th year, beioved
mother of Claire W'atson.
Mrs. Olson was born in Ice-
iand in 1880 and iived in Winni-
peg for 79 years. She was a
member of the First Icelandic
Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Oison was predeceased
by her husband: son Oscar;
three sisters Disa Anderson of
New York City, Andn>a An-
derson and Ranka Magnusson
of Winnipeg.
Surviving besides her
daughter are three grandchil-
dren Signy Carson oLToronto,
Lois Carphin of Vancouver
and Donald Olson of Winnipeg
iand six great-grandchildren.
HALLDOR SVEINSSON
On July 14, 1978 at St. Jo-
seph’s Hospital, Hamilton,
Ont., Mr. Halldor Sveinsson,
aged 60 years, beloved hus-
band of Ottilien, of Ste. 3C - 375
•Kennedy St., Winnipeg.
Besides his wife, Ottilien
(Tilly), Mr. Sveinsson is sur-
vived by his three sons, Ken-
neth, Dennis and Lawrence,
all of Winnipeg; two daugh-
ters, Mrs. Doreen Faircloth
and Mrs. Darlene Mann, both
of Winnipeg and two grand-
children, Neil Faircloth and
Christopher Sveinson.
Should friends so desire, do-

Society for Crippled Children,
825 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg.

JOHNSON
On July 16, 1978 at King
Edward Hospital, Edward
Eldjarn Johnson, aged 77
years, beloved husband of
Mrs. Dorothy Jean Johnson, of
Ste. 810-170 Hendon Ave.
A memorial service will be
held at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday,
July 19 at Mordue Bros. Fu-
neral Home, Broadway and
Edmonton. Rev. E. Johnston
will officiate. Interment of
ashes will take place after ser-
vice in Chapel Lawn Ceme-
tery.
In lieu of flowers, should
