At Hnjótur in Örlygshöfn, Vestfirðir (Westfjords), on the
road from Patreksfjörður to the Látrabjarg bird cliffs, the
farmer Egill Ólafsson has founded a folklore museum
showing and explaining the use of old equipment from
Icelandic farming and ftshing, as well as a separate mu-
seum on the development of airtravel. These museums
are extremely informative on Icelandic cultural history.
