(Part-time Position)
Required: An English-language editor to assume a leadership role in our weekly
newspaper.
In addition to a proven competence in English language composition, article
selection, and copy editing, the successful candidate will have the following attributes:
- a motivated and enthusiastic personality
- experience in small business enterprise
- demonstrated skill in time management, problem solving and deadline
oriented production
- supervisory experience and capability to provide direction on a task-oriented
basis
- ability to work in a small team-co-operative effort
- strong interpersonal skills
- capability to act as an extemal liaison and public contact for the newspaper
Knowledge of, and/or and interest in, the Icelandic culture would be a deflnite
asset.
