2) A few groups and major groups have been united (e.g. major groups 35 and 36 and groups
213 and 214).
3) Canning and preserving of fruits and vegetables is classifisd in groups 201, 204c and 209c,
but not in a separate group (203) as is done in the ISIC. This activity is of very littlc importance and
almost invariably in connection with canning of meat or fish products.
4) Manufacture of natural ice (mostly used on fishing vessels) is classified in group 204a-b, but
not in group 209 as should be done according to the ISIC.
5) Manufacture of flavouring extracts and cosmetics with alcohol is classified in group 211
instead of groups 209c and 319a from Jan. 1, 1959. The state monopoly for distribution and production
of alcoholic beverages is the only producer of this products. The production of alcoholic beverages,
flavouring extracts and cosmetics with alcohol is therefore organized as a single economic unit.

been excluded.

9) Group 319b corresponds to ISIC group 313.
