Gerðarsafn
Hamraborg 4, Kópavogur | March 5 - April 10 | Admission: 500 ISK
It’s tempting to imagine artwork coming alive in the storage rooms of
museums where they are kept for years after having been exhibited.
The title of this exhibit juxtaposes the connection that people make
on a blind date with the connections that divergent art pieces form
when presented together. The artworks are all from Gerðarsafn’s
extensive collection—they come from various decades, and presented
together give a fresh perspective on the Icelandic art scene. HBG
