ellilífeyri). Included basic pension, income supplement, additional pension supplement, money support, household supplement, additional household
supplement and petrol allowance. (Seamen's pensions are also incl. in old age pensions).
3) Með lögum nr.87/1989 um breytingu á verkaskiptingu ríkis og sveitarfélaga er kveðið á um að ríkið yfirtaki alfarið viðfangsefni sjúkratrygginga frá og með
1. janúar 1990. í kjölfarið voru sjúkrasamlögin lögð niður. Utgjöldin, sem þau áður báru eru nú færð undir sjúkratryggingar almannatrygginga að undan-
skildum skrifstofukostnaði, sem færður er með rekstrarkostnaði Tryggingastofnunar. According to law 87/1989 the state should overtake the overall
assignments of the health insurance as of January lst 1990 thereby bringing an end to the operation of the health insurance funds. The expenditure
previously accountedfor by the Health Insurance Fund are now part ofthe expenditure ofthe social security health insurance apartfrom the administration
cost which is counted with the overall administration cost ofthe State Social Security Institute.
