af Unger (Ms s. XXXXI) er blevet identificeret med Turenne, som land-
skabsmæssigt passer godt ind i miljøet; selv havde jeg villet foreslå
Touraine. Et enkelt nummer er knyttet til staden Laon (nr. LXI s. 639
fra Helinandus og hans samling).
Samlingen afsluttes med cisterciensermunken Helinandus fra Froid-
monts legendesamling (jfr. PL 212 sp. 1009 osv.) og med Hugo Farsi-
tus’ samling af mirakler forbundet med Soissons (nr. LXII s. 663, jfr. PL
179 sp. 1777 osv.). Af de sidste har redaktøren af denne samling ladet
sig nøje med et udvalg på syv, mens håndskrift D har taget mere frikos-
tigt for sig af numrene.
Der er visse udvidelser i E1, som er meget sigende, da de viser, at en
lærdomsmand har været aktiv. I nr. LXI er der efter s. 65022 apropos be-
søget ved Bedas grav indflettet et afsnit (s. 65032-6526), der synes hen-
tet fra SpecH XXVI k. 20. Turville-Petre (1959) har særskilt skrevet om
dette afsnit, men ikke været opmærksom på visse specialiteter. Sagen
er, at teksten også er overleveret i Durandus’ Rationale VII k. 40
(d’Avino 1859), og visse læsemåder passer faktisk bedre med teksten
hos ham. Eksempler kan være s. 6514"5: agætr skyrare, der gengiver or-
dene hos Durandus egregius expositor, og 651l4: leidtogi (i AM 764 4°
skrevet leittogi) = Durandus ductor, Leg. aur. derimod discipulus (k.
181, 4 s. 83321)- Durandus har dog ikke været brugt som forlæg, for
6518'9 gloandi til godra verka ok at saa hunangligt guds ord i hiortum
trulyndra fattes såvel hos Durandus som i Leg. aur. Ligeledes er årstal-
let s. 6517 opgivet til at være 688, men hos Durandus angivet til 766 og
til 687 i Leg. aur. s. 83314 og i AM 764 4° bl. 31 v.
Et andet indskud følger efter underne i Soissons. S. 68124 findes en
udlægning, der er hentet hos Petrus Comestor. Den når til s. 68612, hvor-
efter følger pau .x. uers er Petrus Commestor hefir diktat. Der citeres
ikke ti, men 16 verselinjer på latin svarende til PL 198 sp. 1045 og
SpecH XXIX k. 1, hvor dog de sidste seks linjer mangler. Jeg har fun-
det en del af denne tekst i AM 681a 4°, fra og med s. 68329 i Ms.
Det kan ikke siges for vist, at det er afskriveren af E, der har klemt
disse tilføjelser ind i sit håndskrift, men så meget er sikkert, at udvidel-
serne kommer fra yngre kildeskrifter.
Sysler man med E2 og samlingen i sin helhed, bliver man overbevist
om, at en meget eftertænksom og forstandig afskriver har haft med re-
daktionen af samlingen i sin helhed at gøre.
Tabellen, der giver en oversigt over forholdet mellem E1, L og S (s.
