219. Gammel mand gav BMV sin ko, fik 100 igen er trykt i Ms s.
1049-1054 og i Jakobsen 1960; Tubach 1969 nr. 4089.
220. Polyfem-historien omdannet til legende er trykt i Ms s. 1054-
1058. Mussafia jamrede over den kedsommelige Chaste Empress-le-
gende, E nr. II. Jeg tør ikke tænke på, hvordan hans ord ville have for-
met sig ved denne legende.
Når det gælder de følgende numre i manuskriptet D, så ved vi, hvorfra
de er kommet. Numrene 221-226 og 228-230 er taget fra B-samlingen,
og det ser ud til, at man kan slå fast, at de er taget fra håndskrift A (AM
234 fol.) eller et dermed nært beslægtet håndskrift. Unger har ikke
været opmærksom på denne serie i D, da han begyndte udgivelsen af
Ms, eller han har ikke ænset den. Man finder afskrifter:

mærksom på D2 s. 492.
226 svarer til legenden fra A (Talende kødstykke), der er nr. 53 trykt i
Ms s. 154.
227. Pulchra ut luna, electa ut sol er trykt i Ms s. 727f. og lader til at
være håndplukket, da det er samme historie som Herbert 1910 s. 480 nr.
18 (BM Royal 7 D i). Denne del af legenderne om ærkebispen Edmund
af Canterbury mangler i E, der til gengæld har det forrige afsnit (s.
726f.), der mangler i D.
