tion.
The “Trusty Tractor” is in many
respects an unorthodox machine, but
the design is extremely practical, and
its simplicity makes it an agricultural
tool requiring very little knowledge
to handle. It will do the work of a
team of horses with at least as much
power, and infinitely more adapta-
bility. The“TrustyTractor” has afull
range of implements and any opera-
tion from ploughing to the final
harvesting, or trailer work normally
undertaken by horses has been ar-
ranged for, added to which provision
has been made for power take-off.
Cow House Equipment
On page 15 we are running an
illustration of Cow House equip-
ment manufactured by the Salopian
Engineers Ltd. who are one of the
leading manufacturers of this type of
equipment. Cow stalls are adaptable
for varying widths of mangers and
can be fitted with extra raii for use
without mangers where feeding tubes
are used. They can also be supplied
with tubular stanchions for support-
ing roof, carrying wall, or loft floor.
MESSRS. SYMPLEX DAIRY EQUIP-
MENT CO. LTD. are manufacturers
of tubular steel cow stalls and cow
houses and they believe that there
are two things above all which have
to be considered in designing a cow
stall: first, adequate strength—which
must be of a very high order—and
second, a simple, straightforward
method of construction which does
not necessarily demand the employ-
ment of skilled labour.

lcelandic buyers. We wish to
inform these manufacturers that
all sales literature and informa-
tion has now been sent on to the
Agricultural Minister, Exhibition
Bureau in Reykjavík. It is hoped
that many enquiries will be
coming to this country not only
at the present British Industries
Fair in Birmingham, where many
lcelanders are already inspecting
our equipment, but also from
the Exhibition in Reykjavík.
