So Much Creativity In One Little Fjord
‘LungA Festival’
Off in Seyðisfjörður, a little town in the Eastfjords, a creative explosion is taking place in the form
of LungA festival. Celebrating its 15th anniversary, the outing includes a gazillion different ways for
people aged 16 to 25 to get their creative juices flowing through a creative programme. Festivalgoers
can attend workshops that explore comedy, music composition, letter writing, and the apocalypse,
among other things. This programme will mostly have finished by the time this paper hits the streets,
however, but visitors can still catch an outdoor music performance that includes concerts from the
otherworldly mood-masters of Gangly, sparkly/shiny/spacey dj. flugvél og geimskip, the seven
wacky glam rockers Grísalappalísa, and several other others. KES
