NORTHERN COFFEE
The coffee specialists, Kaffitár, offer
a large selection of coffee varieties at
the Íslandica duty-free store in
Keflavík International Airport.
Kaffitár picks and roasts its own cof-
fee beans to make tantalizing spe-
cialty coffee. KostaRika coffee, which
is light and fresh with a touch of
berries, is a good choice for the
morning brew. Skógarkaffi is a blend
of Guatemalan coffee, roasted in two
ways (medium and Vienna roast),
perfect after dinner with chocolates.
Hátídarkaffi is great with a nice cake
or Danish pastry for an afternoon
treat. It hits your taste buds with a
touch of flowers and a hint of wine
and chocolate. Venus is made from a
blend of Central American and
Indonesian coffee, and has a soft tex-
ture and full body. It hits the spot
after a feast or fine meal.
Grýlukanilkaffi is a coffee flavoured
with hazelnut and cinnamon, and is
ideal for offering evening visitors,
adding a new and refreshing edge to
the traditional cup of coffee. The
colourful Kaffitár travel cups are
popular and the coffee lover will now
never have to be separated from his
cup. Expressó chocolate and
Cappuccino chocolate are the first
real coffee chocolates in Iceland,
served in 100 gr. bars, mixing
Icelandic chocolate and Icelandic
coffee, and only from Kaffitár.
