Article 6
International cooperation and assistanre
1. In fulfilling its obligations under this Con-
vention each State Party has the right to seek and
receive assistance, where feasible, from other
States Parties to the extent possible.
2. Each State Party undertakes to facilitate and
shall have the right to participate in the fullest
possible exchange of equipment, material and
scientific and technological information con-
ceming the implementation of this Convention.
The States Parties shall not impose undue re-
strictions on the provision of mine clearance
equipment and related technological informa-
tion for humanitarian purposes.
3. Each State Party in a position to do so shall
provide assistance for the care and rehabilita-
tion, and social and economic reintegration, of
mine victims and for mine awareness pro-
grammes. Such assistance may be provided, in-
ter alia, through the United Nations system, in-
temational, regional or national organizations or
institutions, the Intemational Committee of the
Red Cross, national Red Cross and Red Crescent
societies and their Intemational Federation, non-
govemmental organizations, or on a bilateral ba-
sis.
4. Each State Party in a position to do so shall
provide assistance for mine clearance and relat-
ed activities. Such assistance may be provided,
inter alia, through the United Nations system, in-
temational or regional organizations or institu-
tions, non-govemmental organizations or insti-
tutions, or on a bilateral basis, or by contributing
to the United Nations Voluntary Trust Fund for
Assistance in Mine Clearance, or other regional
funds that deal with demining.
5. Each State Party in a position to do so shall
provide assistance for the destruction of stock-
piled anti-personnel mines.
6. Each State Party undertakes to provide in-
formation to the database on mine clearance es-
tablished within the United Nations system, es-
pecially information conceming various means
and technologies of mine clearance, and lists of
experts, expert agencies or national points of
contact on mine clearance.
Artikel 6
lnternationalt samarbejde og bistand
1. Til opfyldelse af forpligtelseme i henhold til
denne konvention har hver kontraherende stat
ret til at søge og til at modtage bistand hvor det
er muligt ffa andre kontraherende stater i muligt
omfang.
2. Hver kontraherende stat forpligter sig til at
lette udveksling af udstyr, materiale og viden-
skabelige og teknologiske oplysninger, der ved-
rører gennemførelsen af denne konvention, og
har ret til i videst muligt omfang at deltage i sá-
dan udveksling. De kontraherende stater skal
ikke pálægge anskaffelsen af minerydningsud-
styr og dertil hørende teknologisk information
med humanitære formál uberettigede restriktio-
ner.
3. Hver kontraherende stat, der har mulighed
for det, skal yde bistand til omsorgen for og re-
habiliteringen og den sociale og økonomiske
reintegration af mineoffe samt til mineoplys-
ningsprogrammer. Sádan bistand kan blandt an-
dre ydes gennem De Forenede Nationers system,
intemationale, regionale eller nationale organi-
sationer eller institutioner, den Intemationale
Røde Kors Komitá, nationale Røde Kors- og
Røde Halvmáne organisationer og deres Intema-
tionale Forbund, ikke-govemmentale organisa-
tioner eller pá bilateral basis.
4. Hver kontraherende stat, der har mulighed
for det, skal yde bistand til minerydning og der-
med forbunden virksomhed. Sádan bistand kan
bl.a. ydes gennem Forenede Nationers system,
intemationale, regionale eller nationale organi-
sationer eller institutioner, bilateralt eller ved bi-
drag til De Forenede Nationers ffivillige fond til
minerydning eller andre regionale fonde, der har
med mineiydning at gøre.
5. Hver kontraherende stat, der har mulighed
for det, skal yde bistand til destruktionen af op-
lagrede personelminer.
6. Hver kontraherende stat pátager sig at leve-
re oplysninger til den minerydningsdatabase, der
er oprettet inden for De Forenede Nationers sy-
stem, navnlig oplysninger angáende diverse
midler og teknologi til minerydning samt lister
over eksperter, ekspertinstitutioner eller nationa-
le kontaktpunkter inden for minerydning.
