codes and signals to be used will be those con-
tained in IMO Search and Rescue Manual; and
Merchant Ship Search and Rescue Manual
(MERSAR).
(6) In application of the provision of the Op-
erational Arrangements mentioned in Section 2
(2) the Participants will co-operate in the follow-
ing matters:
(a) Standardization of the content, format and
timing of relevant Notice to Airmen (NO-
TAM) and entries in the Aeronautical Infor-
mation Publications.
(b) The Operational Arrangements referred to
in the paragraph 3.1.8 of the Annex to the
SAR Convention and the co-operative ar-
rangements referred to in Chapter 3 of the
Annex 12 to the ICAO Convention regard-
ing the pooling of facilities, the establish-
ment of common procedures, the conduct of
joint training and exercises, regular checks
of inter-State communication channels, liai-
son visits by rescue co-ordination centre
personnel, and the exchange of search and
rescue information will be concluded direct-
ly between the rescue co-ordination centres
of the Participants.
(c) Presentation of this MoU to other maritime
or aeronautical authorities or intemational
organizations.
Section 3
Each party shall bear the expenses incurred by
its participation in search and rescue missions in
conformity with this MoU.
Section 4
This MoU shall enter into force on the date of
signature for an indefinite period. It may be ter-
minated by either Participant giving 12 months
notice in writing.

(6) I medfør af oprettelsen af de i paragraf 2,
stk. 2, nævnte eftersøgnings- og redningsaftaler
samarbejder aftaleparteme om følgende forhold:
(a) Standardisering af indholdet, formatet og
tidspunktet for relevante efterretninger for
luftfarende (herefter kaldet NOTAM) og
indførsel af meddelelser i luftfartsinforma-
tionshándbøger (herefter kaldet AlPer).
(b) De i afsnit 3.1.8 i tillægget til SAR-konven-
tionen omtalte eftersøgnings- og rednings-
aftaler og de i kapitel 3 i tillæg 12 til Chi-
cago-konventionen omtalte samarbejdsafta-
ler om fælles udnyttelse af faciliteter, fast-
sættelse af fælles procedurer, afholdelse af
fælles træning og øvelser, jævnlig afprøv-
ning af mellemstatlige kommunikationsfor-
bindelser, forbindelsesbesøg af rednings-
centralemes personale samt udveksling af
eftersøgnings- og redningsinformationer
indgás direkte mellem aftalepartemes red-
ningscentraler.
(c) Forelæggelse af dette aftalememorandum
over for andre søfarts- og luftfartsmyndig-
heder eller intemationale organisationer.
Paragraf 3
Hver aftalepart afholder selv egne udgifter
forbundet med eftersøgnings- og redningsmis-
sioner i overensstemmelse med dette aftaleme-
morandum.
Paragraf 4
Dette aftalememorandum træder i kralt ved
dets underskrivelse og gælder i et ubegrænset
tidsrum. Aftalememorandummet kan af aftale-
parteme opsiges med 12 máneders skriftligt var-
sel.
