“A beautiful
experience!”

“A beautifully clear day with a
gentle breeze from the north.
Warm, cosy, all in one Gentle
Giant insulated suits - brand new
and really easy to put on (you
don’t even have to take your
shoes off). Then out to sea on
board the Sylvia for a wonderful
and exciting three hours watch-
ing humpback whales.…”
“Surrounded by
whales”

“It was a cold foggy evening but
after 1 hour of seeing nothing we
were literally surrounded by blue
whales just a few feet from our
boat. We were rushing from one
end of the boat to the other. We
then went further out and same
thing happened with the hump-
backs. This trip was spectacular
and really enjoyed the hot choco-
late and cinnamon rolls on the
way back. Highly recommend this
adventure.”
“A Wonderful
Excursion”

“Doing a ring road trip of Iceland,
we did a detour to Husavik specif-
ically to go on a whale watching
trip. I have previously seen whales
in Reykjavik, Boston and Herma-
nus, but the one we did with
Gentle Giants was the best one.
At all times we felt safe. we were
kitted out in warm clothing and
soon after we left the harbour we
were seeing dolphins all over the
show. The boat was not overly
crowded so getting unobstructed
photos was not a problem.…”
“Rock Stars of
Whale Watching”

I am so very very glad we went
whale watching with Gentle
Giants. Apparently our trip should
consider ourselves rock stars.
We saw 2 blue whales together
within 20 feet of the boat. Not
only that, we saw one of them
fluke. Our lovely guide told us
that we are rock stars because
that rarely happens. We also got
to see a few humpbacks and a
pod of white beaked dolphins
came to play with the boat and
were adorable. Though you can’t
guarantee anything, we had an
amazing experience.…
