Hinsegin dagar án páls óskars eru eins og sumardagur án
sólar. Svo mjög hefur hann gefi› hátí›inni líf og lit gegnum
tí›ina. Hann er sjálfmennta›ur söngvari, hefur unni› sem
slíkur frá barnsaldri og undanfarinn áratug hefur hann veri›
ein skærasta poppstjarna Íslands. Hann hefur unni› me›
hljómsveitinni Milljónamæringunum um árabil og er jafn-
framt eftirsóttasti dJ landsins. Ári› 1997 keppti hann í Eurovision me›
laginu „Minn hinsti dans”. Af sólóplötum palla má nefna Stu›, Palli, Seif
og Deep Inside. Einnig hefur hann sent frá sér diskana Ef ég sofna ekki í
nótt og Ljósin heima ásamt Moniku Abendroth hörpuleikara. páll óskar
mun fleyta skífum á Gay pride ballinu á nASA 6. ágúst, og á útitónleikum
Hinsegin daga í Lækjargötu sama dag mun hann me›al annars frumflytja
n‡tt lag af væntanlegri sólóplötu sinni.
Paul Oscar has been one of Iceland’s most flamboyant and adored pop-
stars for the last decade. He appears frequently on TV and radio and has
worked for several years with the Latin band The Millionaires. He com-
peted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1997 and has won awards for
best male singer. He has released four solo albums and two albums with
harpist Monika Abendroth. In addition, he is in great demand as a DJ and
you can catch him DJing at the Gay Pride Ball at NASA on 6 August. Paul
Oscar will be one of the judges for the Icelandic Idol competition on TV
Channel 2 this coming winter. You can also catch him at the Gay Pride
Open Air Concert in Lækjargata on 6 August where he will be presenting
new material from his forthcoming solo album, as well as older, more
familiar numbers.
