Berlin Underground Electro–Funk–Punk–Wave Af bylgjufaldi nútímatónlistarinnar í Berlín kemur Namosh, söngvari, dansari, tónlistarma›ur og allsherjarskemmtikraftur. Hann er a›eins 22 ára en byrja›i a› spila í hljómsveit tíu ára og hóf opinberan tónlistarferil sinn 1999 en fór brátt a› semja eigin lög og texta og upp úr flví hófst sólóferillinn sem kom honum fljótt í fremstu rö›. Fyrsta lag hans, „Picked Up Floozy“, kom út 2003, sí›an svoköllu› E-LP undir nafninu namosh og í vor kom út diskurinn Cold Cream. Tónlist Namosh sameinar rafmagna› pönkrokk og blús en menn eru á einu máli um a› svi›sframkoma hans sé ótrúlega áhrifamikil. Hann er flví eftirsóttur skemmtikraftur og hefur unni› me› listamönnum á bor› vi› Angie Reed/ Barbara Brockhaus, Snax, DJ Kaos/Terranova/K7!, Captain Comatose/Khan, Peaches og Electric Cute, sem margir munu kannast vi›. Namosh hefur skemmt ví›a í Evrópu og undanfari› hefur hann komi› fram me› hinum fjölhæfa listamanni og menningarfrömu›i Wolfgang Müller, me›al annars í Prag og Kaupmannahöfn. Berlin’s stages play host to musicians, singers, entertainers, dancers and acrobats but namosh does it all at once as if it were the most natural thing in the world. it is hard to find a name for his mixture of sounds, styles and music but his main domains are electro, Punk rock and the Blues. namosh’s legendary appearances are spontaneous outbursts of creativity and the way he plays with his audience always gives you the sense that there is more to come. This dancing dervish has worked with various electro luminaries in Berlin and his last CD, Cold Cream, was released in March 2005. namosh will be among the entertainers at the Loftkastalinn Theater, Friday 5 august, and at the Open air Concert in Lækjargata, saturday 6 august.
