(8) I believe that he was crucified on the day we call the Long Fast-Day at
mid-day and died a physical death on the cross that aftemoon.
(9) I believe that when he was dead on the cross, a spear was stuck into his
right side.
(10) I believe that both biood and water came from it.
(11) I believe that his body was buried, and that his spirit with divine power
went down to hell and broke the power of hell and bound the enemy.
(12) I believe that he redeemed us with his biood from the power of the
enemy.
(13) I believe that he redeemed from hell all the men he thought worthy of
it.
(14) I believe that he rose from death on the third day after his passion
together with all the men he had redeemed from hell.
(15) I believe that he appeared to his mother Mary and to his apostles and
that he ate and drank with them.
(16) I believe that he was here after he rose from death and until he
ascended to heaven on the day we call Ascension Day, while his apostles
looked on.
(17) I believe that he is in the glory of heaven, reigning over his creation
together with God Father Almighty.
(18) I believe that he shall come again on the last day to judge all mankind
that are worthy of his judgement.
(19) I believe in the Holy Ghost, that he is God together with the Father
and the Son.
(20) I believe the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost are one God.
(21) I believe that what the apostles preached is the holy and catholic faith.
(22) I believe that the communion of saints is the heart’s purity and
holiness.
(23) I believe that my sins shall be forgiven if I will renounce them and
atone for them and beware of future sins.
(24) I believe that what we call corpus domini is the flesh and biood of my
Lord, which I will take once or more often in the year, if the priests say I shall
do so, to be helped and absolved.
(25) I believe that I shall arise on Judgement Day and receive my due
according to my works, good or evil.
(26) I believe that evil men shall go to hell and the damned shall dwell in
the torments of hell with the devil and his kind, and I also believe that good
men may hope to dwell with Almighty God in the glory of heaven etemally.
(27) With this faith I confess God Almighty, and I renounce the devil and
his works.
