F. (l)v: [Dom. I Aduentus] Lee. prima. U[isio isaie filii amos.. ] . .
Lee. v. Nisi dominus exercituum reliquisset nobis/ (Is. 1, 1-4+7+9).
Some line-ends, seemingly by the same hånd, are visible on f. (13)v
and f. (63)v, lines 1-6.
The un-erased texts of f. (38)v and f. (46)rv are by another scribe
who wrote in a more compressed style than the first one.
F. (38)v: [Dom. IV in Quadragesima.. .] uersaque est in uirgam. . .
Dixitque dominus rursum. Mitte manum tuam in sinum.. . instar niuis
(Exod. 4, 4-6). Reproduction in Westergård-Nielsen, p. 424.
beniamin. . . Quam ob rem irati principes contra hieremiam cesum eum
miserunt in carcerem. Itaque ingressus est hieremias in domum laci et
erga[stulum] (ler. 37, 11-15).
F. (l)r, the front cover, and f. (63)v, the back cover of the
leetionary, received subsequent additions:
F. (l)r: C. 1300 extracts from the Nidaros Ordinary were entered
for Sunday 1 in Advent, for Monday, and for Sundays 2 and 3; a
fourteenth-century hånd added two chapters and a prayer used in Lent;
a more recent, cursive hånd added an Icelandic translation of Nunc
dimittis. See ON, pp. 71-72. Reproduction in Westergård-Nielsen,
p. 421.
F. (63)v: after the first six, now nearly illegible, lines written by the
first scribe of the leetionary, a fourteenth-century hånd added the
Gospel for Wednesday after Sunday 1 in Lent, with the beginning of a
homily:
In illis. Accesserunt ad ihesum scribe et pharisei dicentes. Magister
uolumus a te signum uidere et reliqua (Matth. 12, 38). [Scribe] et
pharisei [.. .]
