B3-8 divide themselves into two groups, B3 and
B4-8 g3 frequently agrees with B1-2 against B4 8,
see, for example, the following variants: 6 pad,
57 veik, 105 jarteiJcner, 119 biost, 120 silfvr, 149
hvad-var. Elsewhere B4 8 agree with B1-2 against B3,
e.g. where B3 has been revised (see p. xlviii).
B6 and B8 must have a common source for they
frequently agree against the other B texts, e.g.
