to tender his resignation. At the next
meeeting of the Executive the resign-
ation was regretfully accepted as well
as that of the vice-president, Grettir
Eggertson who felt that he could not
take on any further duties. Mr. Wm.
D. Valgardson has been elected Pres-
ident and the two vacancies have been
filled by John Arnason and Wm. H.
Finnbogason. The present slate of of-
ficers and executive is as follows.

A. R. Swanson, Past President; Helgi
Olsen, Treasurer; Mrs. H. F. Daniel-
son, secretary; John Arnason, Wm. H.
