THIRD ADVANCED COURSE IN
INDUSTRIAL TOXICOLOGY
HELSINKI, FINLAND, 7—12
(AUGUST 1978.
The Institute cf Occupational Health, Hel-
sinki, Finland, will arrange the above men-
tioned course in industrial toxicology. The
course is sponsored by the Nordic Council
of Ministers, and therefore participants
frcm the Scandinavian countries are given
preference. A limited number of research
workers from countries outside the Scandi-
navian area will, nevertheless, be accepted
to the course. The financial aid received
from the Nordic Council of Ministers can-
not be used to support non-Scandinavian
participants, hcwever, and their registra-
ticn fee will therefore be higher.

Participants
A maximum of 30 Scandinavian partici-
pants will be accepted. The number of non-
Scandinavian participants will not be de-
cided until all applications have been re-
ceived. The participants should be familiar
with basic toxicology and shculd possess
a good knowledge of the English language.

ELECTROCARDIOLOGY
The 5th International Congress of Electro-
cardiclogy will be held in Glasgow, Scot-
land from 5th—8th September 1978. T'here
will be Sessions on Programmed Electro-
cardiography (Pacing Studies), Cardiac
Electrophysiology, Mathematical Model-
ling, Dynamic Electrocardiography, ECG
Criteria, Exercise Electrocardiography and
Computer Studies in Electrocardiography.
