By way of a postscript to this incident, readers might also be inter- ested in knowing the outcome of my last discovery. Following the publication of my article on the mysterious Icelandic trunk, a reader of L-H in the Baldur area notified a cousin in Winnipeg, Norma Ragg, who is a granddaughter of the trunk’s original owner, Brynjólfur Björgólfsson.
