the U.S.

are a new concept in tel-
ecommunications al-
lowing the general pub-
lic to send and receive
facsimile messages at

as post offices, hotel lobbies, banks,
hospitals, shopping centres and airport
terminals, by using the stand-alone
machines.
Identical in operation to any telefax,
Newday’s Public Fax is
activated by inserting a
credit card into a slot.
Transmission confirma-
tion is provided and bill-
ing information is
accessed from a remote
location through a sim-
ple software package
that can be loaded into
any IBM-compatible
PC.
