sem bera titilinn séu í raun að fást við verkefni í sínu daglega starfi. Hinni alþjóðlegu vottun verkefnastjóra sem Verkefnastjórnunarfélag íslands annast á íslandi er m.a. ætlað að koma á sameiginlegum skilningi á því hvað felst í að vera verkefnisstjóri. Ahugavert er að gera nýja könnun, hliðstæða þeirri sem lýst hefur verið í þessari grein en með almennari og einfaldari hugtökum. Ljóst er að hugtökin sem notuð voru hér voru of tæknileg fyrir stóran hóp af því fólki sem fékk beiðni um að taka þátt. Ný könnun ætti því að byggja á almennari hugtakagrunni eftir því sem hægt er. Jafnframt ætti að skoða mismunandi tegundir verkefna og viðmið árangurs betur en gert var hér og huga til dæmis að tengslum árangurs og skilgreiningar á æviskeiði verkefnisins. Loks væri áhugavert að beina sjónum enn frekar að venslum árangurs og reynslu í verkefna- stjórnun, sem reyndust vera fremur veik í þessari könnun.
