Motto:
„T'he Diploma. — What does it signify?
Graduation. — What does it mean?
In the month of June, thousands of young men and
women pass from the organized school of learning to the
unorganized school of experience where the process of
education must continue at a greater or lesser pace.
The diploma signifies accomplishment, it certifies a degree
of preparation, but fastens upon its holder a new respons-
ibility — an obligation to use his or her education in the
never ending accquirement of greater mental enrichment.
How many will try to fulfill the obligation to its utmost
and how many will try to escape it? For the glory of dentis-
try let us hope that every graduate of to day will do honour
to his profession by accepting the challenge to keep abreast
of the times, to read and study, to maintain contacts with
other progressive dentists, so that the graduates of future-
years can not know more, but rather less than he.
Dental Cosmos."
