Cap parabolic-ovate-campanulate, 1—2 cm broad, edge white appendiculate,
grey to fuliginous blackish (i 3—c4), slightly hygrophanous, when dry paler. Stipe
4—7 cm high, íyí—2/a mm thick, fuliginous-grey, smooth, pruinose above. Gills
lanceolate, adnate, at first greyish with white spots, at last black with white edge.
Spores lemon-shaped, blackish, germ pore distinct, 14—16 X 10—11.5 JU.
Basidia 4-spored. Plate, fig. 67.
Cystidia cylindric-clavate, wavy, 30—50 X 5—9 jU.

Cap 2—3 cm broad, campanulate-convex, then expanding and somewhat
umbonate, hygrophanous, when moist rufous-brown, when dry clay with a rubescent
tinge, the umbo yellowish-brown, but long retaining a small, light red-greyish
marginal zone. Stipe c. 7 cm X 2 /a—4 mm, pale clay-brownish rubescent, pruinate
above. Gills slightly adnate, moderately broad, somewhat fleshcoloured when young,
becoming more brown with edge and at last almost black.
Spores broadly limoniform, 14—18 X 10—11 /(, impellucid, blackish. Cystidia
obtuse, hair-shaped to club-shaped, 6—7 JU broad at apex. Plate, fig. 68.

Cap 1—2 cm broad, campanulate to convex, obtuse, dull dusky brown, drying
fuscous-clay or slightly rubescent, but long retaining a dark marginal belt; edge
naked. Stipe 3—5 cm X 2—2/i mm, paler than the cap, equal, naked, paler above.
Gills tapering towards the stipe, motley when young and pale brownish, becoming
fuscous brownish.
Spores narrowly limoniform, 12—15 X 7—8.5 JU, somewhat rough, transparent,
dull brownish.
