The Scholarship Committee of the ICCT has awarded
the 1991 Scholarship of $500.00 to Robert Swanson
based on his academic standing, leadership qualities, and
community involvement. Robert is in his first year of
studies at McGill University in an environmental biology
major.
Cooking Classes
There’s plenty of interest in
cooking classes. However, we need
teachers! If you know Icelandic cook-
ing (such as vínarterta, pönnukökur,
mysuostur, rúllupylsa), please help
teach us!
Language classes
There’s also lots of interest in lan-
guage classes. We’re still planning the
classes, but hope to have something to
offer soon.
Social Events
If you’re not interested in the cul-
tural events, but just want to meet new
people, then make a suggestion on what
we can do for you?
