rl'he Convention was concluded with the singing of a hymn and
the reading of the Lord’s Prayer.

Business agenda committee was named.
Aí'ter the president read the names of the members that had
passed on during the year, the convention remained standing l'or
silent prayer, and closed liv reading the Lord’s Prayer. Meeting
adjourned.
Second Meeting: Social meeting accrding to printed program.
Third Mceting: Was opened with scripture reading and prayer
by the president. Report from the order-of-business committee was
presented and the business was dealt with in the following order:
I. —Rurtd Sunday School Work. Introduced by Mrs. H. G.
Henrickson who gave a full report on the years work. Discussions
followed, and a committee was appointed to bring suggestions during
tlie convention.
II. —Corrcspondence Between Executive and the Societies: After
some discussion the president and the secretary were asked to create
a closer vo-operation between the Societies and the League bv eor-
respondence.
III. —Contest in Spolcen Poetry, Icelandic: Delegates were en-
thusiastic ahout tliis work. All thc arrangements for next conven-
tion were lelt in the hands of the executive.
IV. —Programme for Meeiings: Delegates voiced their apprecia-
tion l'or the yearly programme sent out to the Societies hy Ihe League.
It was left in the hands of the Ladies Aid “Herðubreið” of Langruth,
to prepare a programme for the coming year.
