Sixth Meeting. Monday 2 p.m.—Scripture reading and prayer
read by Mrs. G. Johannesson.
I.—Rurnl Sunday School Work: The following suggestions of
the committee were taken up separately, voted on and carried:
A vote of appreciation to Mrs. H. G. Henrickson for her splendid
work.
1. That Mrs. Henrickson he asked to continuc in charge of
I.ake Manitoba District.
2. That the committee consider suggestions from Arnes re
Sunday school attendance, which would he very helpful and could
lie adapted to olher places.
3. That the Sunday school committee be asked to widen their
field and if possihle to include Saskatchewan.
4. That the Lcague asks closer co-operation with the Lutheran
Synod, in order to promote more devotional tcaching, especially in
the congregations that have no minister at the present time.
VII.—Tempcrancc: The following resolutions made by the com-
mittee wcre carried:
1. That the various Sunday schools lie asked to devote part
time to lessons on temperance; and that suggestions made at con-
vention be followed up, that is with lectures with pictures, selection
of text, ete.
2. That Temperance he a topic for study at each convention.
(b) First Aid: Was introduced hy Mrs. B. M. Paulson of
Arborg, with some very good suggestions. 11 was decided that this
topic should have a place on this year’s programme.
