lessly, but all lived together as three congenial personalities enjoy-
ing many friends in their home and out. She was a staunch sup-
porter of the First Lutheran Church, and steady in her attendance
at Sunday evening services.
In 1947 she blithely decided to fly to Iceland with her daughter
Laura, to visit another daughter, Kristin, Mrs. Kagnar Olafsson, who
had married and gone to Iceland to live. At the age of eighty-three
Oddny greatly enjoyed this trip and came back hale and hearty.
She passed away at the home of her daughter Inga, who had
recently married, becoming Mrs. J. R. Cross. Before the end,
Oddny lived to enjoy their lovely new home at 645 Queenston St.,
Winnipeg, and surrounded by the love of Inga and Laura as well
as the tender solocitude of her other reiatives, she came to eternal
rest not sadly but bravely and, as she had lived, with joy and
contentment in her soul.
The memory of her fine personality will linger long in the
hearts of her many loved ones and her friends.
