they have an alcoholic employee on
their hands until he has reached the
stage where rehabilitation is difíicult,
if not impossible. The findings of this
study offer some clues that may
help to identify the problem drinker
before it is too late.

In 1962 an income and property tax
law was passed in Iceland warrating
issuance of tax-free stock. Essentially
this was a measure to counteract dis-
crepancies in stock values arising
due to inflationary trends persistent
over a number of years.
The article deals with the techni-
calities involved in the issuance of
such special stock and is an attempt
to evaluate the advantages of this
measure.
