un, sem Efnahagsstofnunin gerði tillögu um. Þessi nýja flokkun, sem
skýrir sig að miklu leyti sjálf, er svipuð þeirri eldri, en miklu ýtarlegri,
enda eru vöruliðir hennar 69 að tölu, á móti 34 í eldri flokkuninni. Fyrir-
varar þeir, sem gerðir voru við eldri flokkunina (sjá hls. 17*—18* i
inngangi Verzlunarskýrslna 1969) eiga einnig við þá nýju. Rétt þótti að
breyta um leið landaflokkum þessa yfirlits og hafa EFTA-lönd þar út
af fyrir sig, vegna inngöngu íslands í Friverzlunarsamtök Evrópu 1. marz
1970 (sjá nánar þar um á bls. 46* í Verzlunarskýrslum 1970). — Þess
skal getið, að þessi flokkun innflutnings er nú gerð ársfjórðungslega, en
birting á niðurstöðum hennar er ekki enn hafin.
Innflutningur til framkvæmda Landsvirkjunar og til íslenzka ál-
félagsins li.f. Innflutningur 1972 til framkvæmda Landsvirkjunar (aðal-
lega vélaaukningar Búrfellsvirkjunar, sem lokið var við 1972) nam alls
138,1 millj. kr., og er hann meðtalinn í öllum töflum Verzlunarskýrslna,
eins og verið hefur. Samkvæmt lögum nr. 59/1965, um Landsvirkjun,
með síðari breytingum, skal fella niður aðflutningsgjöld og söluskatt af
efni, tækjum og vélum til viðkomandi framkvæmda, þó ekki af vinnu-
vélum, en fjármálaráðherra er lieimilt að fresta innheimtu þessara gjalda
af vinnuvélum, eða hluta þeirra, gegn tryggingum.
