1960-1983. Teiknaðir eru skjálftar sem staðsettir hafa verið með gögnum frá 10 eða fleiri
skjálftamælum. Langflestir skjálftarnir eru stærri en 4'/2 á Richterskvarða. Gögnin eru
frá U.S. Geological Survey, Earthquake Data File. Örvarnar sýna rekstefnur flekanna út
frá Reykjaneshrygg og Kolbeinseyjarhrygg, og sniðgengishreyfingu um Charlie-Gibbs

lithospheric plates away form the Rcykjanes and Kolbeinsey Ridges, and the strike-slip
