Director Portfolio
The Director Portfolio reports to VP Commercial Affairs of Medis
and is responsible for leading the Medis portfolio selection on behalf of Medis. The
Director Portfolio plays a vital role in modelling the forecasted Medis sales of future products
and in feeding the research and development pipeline with ideas from the Medis sales team and
industry contacts.
The Director Portfolio is located in Iceland and works closely with several departments within both
Medis and Actavis globally.
Key assignments:
• Leading the Medis portfolio selection and handling business modelling
• Preparing, maintaining and publishing the Medis Dossier Portfolio list and supporting the sales strategies
• Representing Medis in Actavis pipeline selection meetings, including decisions on exclusivity, litigation- and
regulatory strategies
• Seeking new profitable product opportunities for all market segments
Required education & experience:
• University degree in Pharmacy or similar education
• High proficiency in Excel and computer literacy
• Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English is essential

Medis team of more than 100 employees in Iceland
and abroad.
Medis is a subsidiary of Actavis Group and handles
sales of proprietary information and pharmaceutical
products to other pharmaceutical companies. Medis‘
turnover is over 300 million USD annually and among
their customers are many of the world’s largest generic
pharmaceutical companies.
