Visual Art Day is an awareness campaign where the work
of the visual artists is introduced to the Icelandic public. As
we become more familiar with something our understanding
of it increases and knowledge leads to broadmindedness and
decreases prejudice. That is why Visual Art Day is an impor-
tant platform for promotion of this interesting profession.
