Útdrættir erinda og veggspjalda

Fagráðstefna skógræktar var haldin á Hótel Geysi
Haukadal dagana 29.-30. mars 2022 undir yfir-
skriftinni Skógrækt 2030 – Græn ábyrg framtíð. Ráð-
stefnan var nú haldin á ný eftir tveggja ára hlé
vegna veiru faraldursins COVID-19. Um 150 manns
voru skráð á ráðstefnuna sem stappaði nærri þátt-
töku meti. Fag ráðstefna skóg ræktar er haldin í sam-
starfi Skógræktar innar, Landbúnaðar háskóla Íslands,
Skógræktar félags Íslands, Skógfræðinga félags Ís-
lands og Bænda samtaka Íslands. Fyrri dagur inn
var með óhefðbundnu sniði í anda yfir skriftar ráð-
stefn unnar um græna ábyrga framtíð í skóg rækt
til 2030. Haldin voru stutt inngangs erindi um þrjú
umfjöllunar efni. Að því búnu var efnt til pallborðs-
umræðna. Efnin sem tekin voru fyrir eru voru í fyrsta
lagi skógræktar stefna til 2030, í öðru lagi kolefnis-
binding, ný markmið, tækifæri og vottun og í þriðja
lagi viðar afurðir. Síðari daginn voru fjölbreytt erindi
um ýmis skóg fræðileg og skóg tæknileg efni. Í þessu
riti eru birtir út drættir fyrir lestra og vegg spjalda
frá þeim höfundum sem óskuðu birtingar. Sumir
útdráttanna eru auknir frá því sem var í út gefnu
ráðstefnuriti eins og höfundum var gefinn kostur á.

Title: Fagráðstefna skógræktar 2022 – Abstracts of Talks
and Posters
The annual conference for the Icelandic forest sector,
Fagráðstefna skógræktar, was now held anew 29-30
March 2022 after being called off twice due to the
COVID-19 pandemic. The conference program was or-
ganised under the title Forestry in 2030 – a Green re-
sponsible future. About 150 people were registered
for participation which is close to the previous best
for this event. The conference is held in the collab-
oration of the Icelandic Forest Service – Skógræktin,
the Icelandic Agricultural University, the Icelandic
Forestry Association, the Icelandic Foresters Asso-
ciation and the Icelandic Farmers Association. The
first day of the conference, three themes were ad-
dressed with lectures and panel discussions, start-
ing with the forest strategy up till 2030. The second
theme was carbon sequestration – new goals, op-
portunities and certification, ending with the third
theme, wood products. On the second conference
day, various lectures were on the agenda, touching
on multiple theoretical and practical topics of forest-
ry and forest management. On the following pag-
es, you will find abstracts from authors of talks and
posters who chose to present such for publication.
A few of the abstracts are extended versions which
participants were given the opportunity to hand in
after the conference. Other abstracts are idendical
to those published in the conference paper prior to
conference. On the Icelandic Forest Service website,
you will find recordings and slides from most of the
lectures and posters presented at the conference.
