appreciation to Mrs. Anna Magnusson, Selkirk, Treasurer o£ the
Board of Directors of Sunrise Lutheran Camp.
The Sunday School Committee has not been able to make any
visits to the interlake districts as had been planned. Further efforts
ín this work will be discussed at the convention.
Ardis has been published as usual. The only difference this
year will be the omission of the minutes of the Convention. Our
sincere appreciation goes to the Editorial staff as well as the
Business committee for their untiring and exacting work, in placing
such a creditable edition before the public.
Our Board of Directors for Sunrise Lutheran Camp has been
faithful in executing their duties for the Camp, having as its
aim the continued upkeep and progress, it’s members are ever
alert to its welfare in every way. I often feel that the average
member can’t realize the tremendous work the members of the
Board do, both in time spent and actual labor. The chairman of
the Board of Directors donated all the folders that were sent out
to the different districts with the Camp schedule, as well as a
thousand single sheets with the schedule, for distribution in church
bulletins and elsewhere. The trips that he has made to the Camp
to do work are too numerous to mention. Dr. Eyolfur Johnson of
Selkirk, has done a tremendous amount of work also as well as
making many trips and bringing men down to work on the grounds.

Women’s League are greatly indebted to these men, as well as to the
women members of the Board. Thank you from the bottom of our
hearts.
At the last meeting of the Board of Directors it was the
unanimous opinion of its members, that a man should be hired
to be caretaker for the Camping period.
In conclusion I thank each and every one who in any way
assisted me in my work as president of the Lutheran Women’s
League. It has been an honor to be your representative. I feel I
have lacked in many respects. Everyone has been most kind. I
would have wished to visit the many Aids within the L.W.L.
But this was not possible this year. My humble gratitude goes out
to our Past President for her valuable assistance at all times.
When I have fumbled in the darkness of my inexperience, I have
reached out and found her kind and loving outstretched hand ready
