Our worldwide Supply Chain
organization is responsible for all the
production and assembly activities
within Marel, for the logistical activities,
strategic and operational purchasing
as well. We have manufacturing centers
throughout the entire world, which
support the different industry centers
within Marel with the production,
acquisition, assembly, testing and
storage of machines and spare parts.
This support is provided during product
development, manufacturing of
machines and spare parts production for
after sales market.

You will be responsible for:
• Driving the Marel global HSE culture at Marel
Iceland through engagement and involvement
• Overall production planning and timely execution
• Focusing on continuous improvement through
involvement of employees and using LEAN tools
and best practices in a complex and international
environment
• Facilitating innovation of products, processes and
logistics concepts
• Organizational development, proper staffing levels,
staff involvement and ensure the continuity of this
on the long-term
• Working in unity and ensuring cooperation with
internal stakeholders
• Being a driver and inspirator that stimulates
the organization to execute and deliver timely on
commitments
• Interacting with other Marel manufacturing
locations, since you will be part of the Global
Manufacturing management team
Job requirements:

• Experience in executive positions: providing
direction, conceptual, integral thinker, analytical,

Coaching style of management, people-oriented,

• A degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, or
equivalent
• Knowledge and experience with products,
processes and materials in a technical international
production environment
• Knowledge of procurement, logistics, production
and assembly processes
• Have familiarity with modern production
technology and logistics concepts
