SUMMARY
Three new fish species in Icelandic
waters

Three new fish species are described.
These species are Serrivomer beani Gill &
Ryder, 1883 caught in April 1979 off the SW
coast (62°43’N 24°24’W), Rolyacanthonolus
(Polyacanthonolus) rissoanus (de Filippi &
Vérany, 1859) caught in April 1980 off the
SW coast (62°26’N 25°06’W) and Caristius
macroþus Bellotti, 1903 which has been
caught three times in Icelandic waters — the
first one before 1969, the second in April
1978 off the SW coast and the third in June
1979 off the SE coast.
