Franski fatahönnuðurinn Jean Paul Gaultierfékk innblástur frá hinni föllnu poppgyðju Amy Winehouse í hátískusýningu sinni íParís á dögunum. Þetta þýddi það að fötin sóttu í brunn sjötta og sjöunda áratugarins, sem voru í uppáhaldi hjá Winehouse, en hún lét lífið í kjölfar alkóhóleitrunar í júlí á síðasta ári. Mikil áhersla var á korselett í sýningunni en fötin voru annars fjölbreytt, allt frá buxum og þröngum hnjápilsum yfir í síðkjóla. „Amy Winehouse var sannkölluð tískufyrirmynd,“ sagði hönnuðurinn við blaðamenn baksviðs eftir sýninguna. Sagði hann Winehouse hafa verið einstaka. „Bæði í tónlist og hvernig hún klæddi sig, hún blandaði saman ýmsum áhrifum og skapaði sinn eigin stíl,“ sagði Gaultier, sem tókst að gera sérstaka sýningu úr þessum efniviði og heiðra minningu söngkonunnar um leið. Undir lok sýning- arinnar voru allar fyrirsæturnar með slör. Reuters Áherslan var á mittið í sýning- unni með mörgum út- gáfum af korselettum. Bleiki lit- urinn var áberandi á sýningunni.
