These results indicate a difference in
recovery according to soil type, the sandy
soils giving a lower recovery than the
loamy soils. On the basis of these results, it
was decided to correct measured linuron
contents by a factor of 85 for loam type soils
(ppm X 100/85) and by a factor of 70 for
sandy soils. The soils designated sandy
loam were corrected by a factor of 85.
Table 3 shows the results of the linuron
measurements, dry matter and organic
matter determinations. The Norwegian
results from the inter-laboratory compari-
son are also presented in this table.
Potato
The results of recovery studies for potato
samples are presented on table 4.
Figure 4 shows a typical recording from
the Autoanalyser while measuring these
potato sample extracts. It illustrates the
stability of the system even at the high
sensitivity necessary at these low levels of
dichloroaniline.
