The station is located on gravity bench mark 5213, which is set in the top
of the concrete platform at the top of the concrete stairway leading to the
basement of the Kirkjuhvoll, a community center building, located 0.5 kilometer
north-northeast of Kirkjubæjarklaustur in southem Iceland. The stairway is
located at the northeast corner of the building, with the bench mark at the
northwest comer of the platform, adjacent to the east wall of the building.
The building is located about 1.5 kilometer west of the Kirkjubæjarklaustur
Airport, on the main gravel road to Kirkjubæjarklaustur, and is a large corrugated
steel shell above a concrete base.
