Senior Software Engineer As an experienced developer, you will take the lead in design and implementation of our current and future products. You are comfortable working on existing or new code, and able to quickly understand code architecture. You will mentor new team members and lead by example. Qualifications • BSc degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience • 5 - 7 years experience, with demonstrated ability to take a leading role in a development team • Extensive experience with: • Java or Go • Container based technology, either Docker or Kubernetes • Linux, preferably Debian • REST API design and implementation • Git • Traditional and document databases • Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills, and a sense of ownership and drive • Broad experience a plus. Quality Assurance Lead As the lead of our QA team, you will work closely with our development and SRE teams in an agile environment. You’ll be responsible for writing test plans, analysing our testing needs, and designing and implementing automated system tests, including UI tests. You’ll mentor other teams on QA best practice and take an active part in daily QA activities, including synchronisation with remote teams. Qualifications • BSc degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience • 3 - 5 years experience in a leading role in a software QA team • Extensive experience with: • Software testing, automated and manual • JIRA workflows, or a similar issue system • Scripting and automation with one or more of Python, Go, Perl or Ruby • Git Site Reliability Engineer As a Site Reliability Engineer, you’ll engage in and improve the lifecycle of services - from design through deployment, operation and refinement. You’ll maintain services by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health. You’ll also play an important role in scaling systems sustainably through automation and evolving them by pushing for changes to improve reliability and velocity. Qualifications • BSc degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience • 5 - 7 years experience in a similar role • Extensive experience with: • Distributed systems design and orchestration with Kubernetes • Infrastructure automation, preferably using Terraform • Scripting and automation with one or more of Python, Go, Perl or Ruby • Strong understanding of systems design and networking with regards to performance and scale • Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills, and a sense of ownership and drive. Frontend Developer As a part of our frontend development team, you will work on implementing, testing and debugging our current and future products. You will work closely with other teams and our customers on finding the best solution to complicated problems. You are comfortable working with a distributed, large scale system that is constantly evolving, with an eye for detail and a proven track record of delivering quality code. Qualifications • BSc degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience • 5 - 7 years experience as a front end developer • Extensive experience with: • Node.js • Modern JavaScript development with ECMAScript 6 • Git • Working with a JavaScript unit test library • Strong experience working with backend APIs, and the ability to understand system design and restraints. Software Engineer As a part of our core team, you are comfortable working in a team of motivated people. You will work on implementing new solutions, as well as adding to existing codebases. Qualifications • BSc degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience • 3 - 5 years experience in a similar role • Extensive experience with: • Java or Go • Container based technology, either Docker or Kubernetes • REST API implementation • Git • Traditional and document databases • Demonstrated Linux experience • Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills, and a sense of ownership and drive. Quality Assurance Engineer As a part of our QA team, you’ll execute manual tests, implement integration tests and help with our automation efforts. Working closely with our development and SRE teams on deployment verifications, you’ll also assist with adding new components to our build pipeline and testing suite.
