teristic species of the other formations mentioned have
entirely disappeared, but new species have taken their
place. There is some correlation however between circlings
2 and 6 as regards the species, as the intervalbetweenthese
circling-stations is not great, and no. 2 is situated in uncom-
^only moist birch-copse, where even Carex Goodenoughii
has gained a footing in the vegetation. On the other hand
Carex Goodenoughii and Equisetum palustre are domi-
nant in the swamp. It must be counted as Hallamýri,
Equisetum-Carex Goodenoughii-association.
