Tablets—The recognized corticosteroid for systemic use.
even incases in which previous corticosteroid therapy may
have proved inadequate.
Supplied: 0.5 mg. and 0.75 mg. dexámethasone each, in ,
bottles of 30, 100 and 500.
Injection—The rapid-acting all-purpose parenteral cortico-
steroid—immediately available for direct I.V., I.M., intra-
synovial and soft tissue injection—valuable in emergencies.
Supplied: 4 mg. dexamethasone 21-phosphate per cc., in
1 cc. ampules and 2 cc. vials.
Eye/Ear Solution with Neomycin—A corticosteroid solution
for rapid anti-inflammatory. antifibroblastic action to mini-
mize scarring and vascularization.
Supplied: 0.1 mg. dexamethasone 21-phosphate and 0.5
mg. neomycin sulfate per cc., in 2.5 cc. bottles.
Topical Cream with Neomycin—A fully soluble preparation
of the phosphate salt of Decaoron. Penetrates rapidiy
where suspensions do not. No stain, smell or sting.
Supplied: 0.1 mg. dexamethasone 21-phosphate and 0.5
mg. neomycin sulfate per cc.. in 5 Gm. tubes.
Note: As with all steroids. contraindicated in tuberculosis. ocuiar
herpes simplex and ocular fungal infections. Full details of indi-
