LÆKNABLAÐIÐ when the clinical problem is a “common” infection Orally efTectivc — blood concentrations considerably higher than with other anti- biotics; retained in the body lor as long tts 24 hours. Often bactericidal—against clinicaily pre- valcnt pathogens including many resistant to other antibiotics. Clinically practical—prompt response in a majority ol' common infections; gastro- intestinal tolerance exceptionally high; no difficulties of cross-resistance with com- monly used antibiotics. Adults: 500 mg. every 12 hours. Children: 15 mg./kg. of body weight per day, in divided doses every 6 or 12 hours. Supplied: Albamycin Capsules, 250 mg., in bottles of 16 and 100.
