The Industrial Institute of Iceland
has taken up a new activity in order
to promote quality of industrial pro-
ducts.
An orbitrary committee with repre-
sentatives from the Society of Ice-
landic Architects, the Society of Furni-
ture Architects, the Icelandic College
of Arts and Crafts and the Industrial
Institute of Iceland has been formed
for the purpose of evaluating and re-
gistering industrial products, which
meet certain basic quality standards.
The Industrial Institute of Iceland will
maintain the Design Index.
